Children's Adoption Support Guide

If you're a child or young person who has been adopted, we can help you:

  • talk about adoption
  • understand your ‘life story’
  • choose who to tell you are adopted, and how much to tell them
  • stay safe and in control on the internet
  • discuss worries about your birth family
  • understand your contact arrangements.

We'll listen to you, find out what you need and help you and your parents discuss your feelings with someone who understands adoption.

We hold family days during the year where you can meet up with other adopted children and their families. Meet other adopted young people.

To get help, call 03000 422373 or email adoption.partnership@kent.gov.uk.
